Does acupuncture hurt?Doing an acupuncture session is certainly the best way to answer your question. It is an individual sensitivity. Each person will react differently. But generally I would say that acupuncture does not hurt, rather it creates unexpected, unfamiliar and sometimes uncomfortable sensations. For comparison purposes, acupuncture certainly hurts less than: biting your tongue, getting stung by a bee, receiving a hypodermic injection, or stubbing your toe against a corner of the table.

How often do I have to come for treatment? It will depend on a multitude of factors. First of all your pathology: chronic or acute, benign or malignant, etc. But also of you! How your body will react to the treatment. Will you be ready to make the changes necessary to heal? I never say how long your treatment will last because I don't know. Patients do not react in the same way to identical treatments. It is the results obtained that will tell us if we are on the right track.

I twisted my ankle in sports yesterday, it is swollen, a little purple and is painful. Should I wait before coming to see you?"No, the sooner the better. With acupuncture, for example, I can act on the wound via distant points, that is to say far from the inflamed and painful site. Through specific techniques, it is possible to promote the reduction of inflammation and pain in order to speed up recovery.
